This also means it's time to bring out our favourite summer shoes, and we cannot be more excited. On the runways, we are seeing a return to Y2K and the late-noughties with everything from the platform heel to the iconic Mary Janes. So prepare to put away those winter boots and step into the hottest footwear of the season - here are 4 spring/ summer show trends that we are obsessed with.

Platforms

Spotted on our favourite fashion icons such as Carrie Bradshaw, the platform is here and ready for us to take on the city once again. Being easier to wear than the stiletto, we can experiment with colourful hues; also playing into the ‘Dopamine dressing’ trend. Below are our favourite platforms of the season.

Summer is officially here and we can now welcome back the “ugly-chic” chunky sandal. From the Chanel dad sandals to the return of Birkenstocks, chunky sandals have been a spring/ summer staple for the past two years and are not going anywhere.

Due to two years of lockdown, it is no surprise that flat shoes are in trend this season. The number one among them? The Loafer. With the loafer, we are allowed to be comfortable while still looking sleek/ professional.
