Hi Readers!

We understand that during this lockdown that most people maybe looking for inspiration and ways to still look fashionable whilst at home and now more than ever shopping more in order to prepare for when we will be allowed to socialise and be out. Make the conscious effort to dress up differently every day and leave the lounging wear for Sundays. In the meantime we will show you the looks that you can still put together whilst in your own comfort but still looking FABULOUS.

  1. Keep Dressing Up

We currently do not have any special occasions to keep dressing up for unless celebrating a (lockdown) birthday or anniversary, be it more for another reason to dress up. Imagine how you feel once you have made yourself look handsome/beautiful - that is the release of good endorphins which continue to keep us in good spirits. This will also excite us for when we will be able to socialise again and dress for other occasions and feel more inspired to elevate our personal style. Lastly, make sure to take plenty of pictures whether for social media or for memories sake so when you are feeling uninspired you will remember how it made you feel to dress that way.

  2. Working from Home

Your working from home does not have to be your jeans and jumper/shirt. You may not feel the need to make yourself look as presentable as usual because “you are working from home.” To come out of your comfort wear - tell yourself you will make the conscious effort to dress up a bit more for work. We understand it has now become home comfort to not make as much effort because you are at home all day every day unless when you decide to go for a walk but even feeling some form of normalcy for half the days in the week will make you feel good.

  3. Getting Creative

Spicing up your colour wear can brighten your mood, as colours has been proven to have an affect on your mood. Whether it’s a pair of jeans with a bright orange top or pink shirt, whichever colour you choose make sure it uplifts your mood and everyone around you will benefit from your high energy.

  4. Dressing for the Supermarket

More and more people feel the need to even dress up for the supermarket or for a walk in the park as these are the two places which most visit. Even if you are in the supermarket or walking in the park for 20 mins to 1 hour, it is still the idea of getting up, getting dressed and going.

  5. Home ALL Day

Being home all day can possibly mean that you are in your tracksuit or comfy wear all day and feel uninspired to change it up every now and again. Did you know that your tracksuit or comfy wear can still be a fashionable statement whilst at home? Just a few tweaks and you have gone from complete comfort to a fashion statement within a minute.
